About the Course
Learn how fundamental design principles can be used to create distinctive, meaningful and consistent brand identities.
Students explore visual communication, composition, typography, colour and branding, while learning how brands develop a recognisable personality and visual character.
The course takes students through the process of researching a brand and its audience, defining brand personality, developing personas and moodboards, and evaluating how typography, colour and visual choices communicate different qualities and emotions.
Students then translate this research into an original visual identity, progressing from concept development through to logo design, visual systems and practical brand applications.
